Secondary Units and Functions

Crushing and screening secondary units are units used in the second stage of crushing and screening operations. These units are designed for crushing raw materials to smaller sizes and classifying finer particles.

Crushing Secondary Units:
Jaw Crushers: Used to crush raw materials in smaller sizes. Generally preferred for second stage crushing after primary crushing operation.
Impact Crushers: Crush raw materials through high-speed rotating rotors and hammers or impact pieces on them. Particularly suitable for medium hardness materials.

Screening Secondary Units:
Vibratory Screens: Used for classification of crushed raw materials according to their sizes. Material in desired particle size is obtained through screens of different sizes.

Main Components

Crusher (Jaw or Impact): The unit that performs the crushing operation of raw materials.
Screen (Vibratory): The unit used for classification of crushed raw materials.
Feeder: The unit used for feeding raw materials to crusher or screen unit.
Carrier Conveyor: The conveyor belt used for transporting crushed or screened materials.
